Sharing the Partnering For Pain Top 10 Priorities with research funders: Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR).

One to three million Canadian children and teens live with pain lasting months to years. Children with chronic pain and their families are experts on what it’s like to live with pain, but until now, research did not focus on issues they care about most.

The Partnering For Pain project is impacting federal recommendations regarding pain research and care in Canada.

The Canadian Pain Task Force was established in March 2019 to help the Government of Canada better understand and address the needs of Canadians who live with pain.
